My REI Focus
My experience is exclusively in residential real estate. I focus primarily on single family properties, but do venture into small multifamily dwellings.
Find the Deal
The hardest part of REI is finding the deal. It is common knowledge that one makes their money when they buy. So buying right is of utmost importance.
Help the Seller
Part of buying right is offering an owner a better, easier way to sell! Therefore, by figuring out how to bring value to transaction can make all the difference!
Improve
Adding value to any product or service is essential. Finding properties that need TLC is an REIs way to add value. The worse shape the property, the better!
Write
This site captures the experiences and knowledge gained. I can reflect on my mistakes and successes. It helps me improve and maybe others, as well.
My Story
I grew up in Richfield MN, and after graduating high school, I pursued an engineering degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree, I worked in industrial robotics for many years. Basically, I helped design and build robotic systems that aided companies in the manufacturing their products. If you have ever seen the show “How Its Made”, that explains a lot of what I did early in my career.
